What is your session fee?
Each therapist at our clinic is independently credentialed, so insurance network participation may vary. Some of our licensed clinicians are in-network with select insurance plans, while others, including our LPC-Associates, are not currently paneled with insurance. For clients paying out of pocket, our LPC-Associates offer high-quality, supervised care at a competitive self-pay rate, making therapy more accessible without compromising on support or expertise.
Are you in person or virtual?
In-person sessions are available at the Round Rock office (days/times vary). Telehealth sessions are available across Texas.
What is your cancellation policy?
We request 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the penalty fee of $110
How often will we meet?
Most clients start with weekly sessions. As therapy progresses and stability increases, some choose to move to biweekly appointments based on their goals and needs.
What ages do you work with?
Laurel Oaks Counseling & Therapy provides individual therapy to teens (12 and up) and adults.
What should I expect the first session?
Your first session, often called an intake, is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation for our work together. The goal is to better understand what’s bringing you to therapy, what challenges you’ve been facing, and what you hope to gain from the process.

You’re welcome to share at your own pace—there’s no pressure to disclose more than you feel ready for.

We’ll explore your current concerns, touch on any relevant past experiences, and discuss your specific goals for therapy. If you've completed the online Assessments, your therapist may go over these in session. These quick online clinical questionnaires provide a great baseline on which to measure progress.

Your therapist will also explain how their approach the work, and answer any questions you have.

Many clients leave the first session feeling more grounded, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.
