FAQs
How do I know if someone is the right therapist for me?
The therapeutic relationship is so important. There has been so much research dedicated to figuring out what exactly helps people get the most results from therapy, and for decades two things always come up: 1) how motivated someone is for therapy, and 2) how well you trust and like your therapist (the right "fit"). The consultation is a good time to assess this, as well as the first few sessions.

How long will I need to be in therapy?
Everyone’s pace is so different so it's hard to say. Some people feel comfortable phasing out sessions within a few months, while others prefer longer-term support. Our goal as therapists is to empower you to get to the root of the anxiety and develop the coping skills to manage the day to day.
How long are sessions?
Most sessions are 55 minutes, though some clients prefer 45 minutes (to fit into their schedule, or if an hour feels too long). Weekly or biweekly scheduling is available depending on what works best for you.
Do you offer virtual or in-person?
Both! Virtual sessions are available for clients anywhere in Texas using Doxy.me — a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform designed for telehealth. There’s nothing to download — just click the link and meet in an encrypted virtual office that protects your confidentiality.
For in-person sessions, the office is located in the New Hope Office Park in Cedar Park (921 W. New Hope Drive) — a perk - there’s a Starbucks within walking distance!
Do you take insurance?
Yes, with most major insurance plans — feel free to reach out to see if we are in network.
